This course includes First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2010 and meets OHS regulations for Advanced First Aid.  The course is designed to meet the National Occupational Competency Profiles for the practitioner level of Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) established by the Paramedic Association of Canada (PAC).  It provides the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until the next level of health care takes over.

Course Details:


CPR/AED Level C is mandatory, but it is recommended that participants have completed a Standard First Aid + CPR/AED course.  Those doing an upgrade to the EMR level must have a current Red Cross First Responder.  Recommended for those in emergency response, including Firefighters, Police, EMS personnel, OPT (or equivalent) personnel and workplace response teams.
